MORS Group is looking for a hands-on Finance & HR Executive to take ownership of the Group’s day-to-day finance function together with a lean HR administration portfolio.
This is suited to someone who is comfortable working independently, keeps clean records, understands numbers beyond data entry, and can produce reliable financial information for management. You will work across MORS Group and its businesses.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments and employee claims.
- Maintain accurate financial records and monthly supporting schedules.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss statements and other management reports.
- Maintain and update cash-flow forecasts and provide management with visibility over upcoming commitments.
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents required for annual audit and liaise with the external accountant/auditor.
- Coordinate SST, corporate tax documentation, Form E and other relevant finance submissions with external advisers where applicable.
- Manage e-Invoice data preparation and filing.
- Handle banking documentation, payment processing and finance-related administrative matters.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and audit trails.
- Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and other financial analysis required by management.
HR Administration
The HR portfolio is intentionally lean and operational.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and processing monthly payroll.
- Managing EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and other statutory HR submissions.
- Maintaining employee records and HR system information.
- Managing leave records and attendance administration.
- Preparing routine employment documentation in coordination with the Executive Assistant to the Group CEO.
- Supporting onboarding, confirmation and offboarding administration.
- Maintaining accurate payroll, employee and statutory records.
- Supporting HR reporting and other routine employment administration as required.
Strategic people matters, CEO coordination, performance follow-through and wider administration will sit with the Executive Assistant to the Group CEO.
What We Are Looking For
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Relevant hands-on finance/accounting experience.
- Able to prepare management accounts and understand a P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Experience preparing financial schedules and documents for external accountants or auditors.
- Familiarity with Malaysian payroll and statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB.
- Strong Excel / spreadsheet capability.
- Comfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving organisation.
- Accurate, organised and dependable with deadlines.
- Able to identify discrepancies rather than simply process transactions.
- Good written and spoken English.
- High level of confidentiality and integrity.
