Role Description This full-time, on-site Control System Engineer role is based in Kuala Ketil and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for industrial processes. The engineer will develop and review control system architectures, create wiring and layout diagrams, program controllers, and configure instrumentation to ensure stable and efficient operations. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, analyzing process data, identifying root causes of issues, and implementing corrective actions to improve reliability and safety. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting commissioning and start-up activities, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company procedures. The engineer will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any related Electronic Engineering/ Automation Robotic/ Mechatronic Engineering or other related field to Robotic and PLC Controller System, or other closely related field of study from an accredited institution.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Control and Control Systems Design to develop, optimize, and maintain robust control solutions.
• Hands on experience in PLC programming and AI implementation- emphasis on Omron CX Programming/ Omron, Siemens, HMI, SCADA & Keyence
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering and Systems Engineering skills to integrate hardware, software, and instrumentation into cohesive systems.
• Candidates should possess effective Troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults, resolve control issues, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of relevant safety standards and best practices, including functional safety concepts and basic risk assessment methods.
• Candidates should possess good analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
