About the role

Customind Lab Sdn. Bhd., a dynamic and innovative design studio, is seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our growing team. As an Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our diverse range of clients. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and contribute to the continued success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences

• Conceptualising and developing innovative interior design solutions that meet the client's needs

• Preparing detailed design plans, including floor plans, furniture layouts, and material selections

• Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts

• Providing on-site supervision and project management during the construction phase

• Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards

• Continuously researching and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in interior design

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field

• Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the interior design industry

• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and stakeholders

• Keen eye for detail and a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions

• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
