Job Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare concrete samples for testing.

• Conduct concrete cube testing and other basic quality control tests.

• Carry out slump tests and monitor fresh concrete quality.

• Properly label, store and maintain concrete test cubes.

• Record and maintain accurate test results and quality records.

• Assist with routine quality control inspections at the batching plant and project sites.

• Ensure testing equipment and work areas are kept clean and properly maintained.

• Report any abnormal test results or quality issues to the supervisor.

• Perform other duties related to concrete quality control as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification; relevant certificates, preferably in a technical or construction-related field, will be an advantage.

• Able to read and write well.

• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites or concrete plants.

• Able to work with minimal supervision.

• Responsible, hardworking and punctual.

• Good work discipline and able to work well as part of a team.

• Willing to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities.

• Previous experience in concrete works, concrete testing or laboratory testing is an advantage.

• Possess a valid driving licence, if required to travel to project sites.

• Possess own transportation and be willing to travel when required.

• Physically healthy and capable of performing basic concrete testing and laboratory-related tasks.
