Technical Product Lead / Solution Architect

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Product Lead / Solution Architect to lead end-to-end technical projects across software, cloud, edge computing, and hardware integration.

The role involves solution architecture, technical PoCs, system integration, deployment, troubleshooting, and technical team leadership. You will work closely with business stakeholders, software developers, robotics/electrical teams, suppliers, and end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system solutions.
• Design end-to-end architecture covering frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud, edge computing, and hardware interfaces.
• Lead technical PoCs, feasibility studies, system integration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Work with software, robotics, electrical/electronics, UI/UX teams, and external suppliers.
• Contribute hands-on to software development and technical troubleshooting.
• Integrate real-time data, telemetry, APIs, WebSockets, and robotics interfaces.
• Lead and coordinate technical team members, assign tasks, review implementation, and resolve technical blockers.
• Support AWS, Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, Nginx, and production environments.
• Participate in technical evaluation of hardware, sensors, suppliers, and integration requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, Technical Leadership, Systems Integration, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Linux/Ubuntu.
• Experience with AWS, preferably EC2.
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Nginx, SSL/domain configuration, and application deployment.
• Practical exposure to React and/or Flutter/Dart.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, databases, networking, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical team members.

Good to Have

• Experience in robotics, IoT, edge computing, or hardware-software integration.
• Working knowledge of ROS/ROS2.
• Experience with telemetry, sensors, HMI, dashboards, or industrial systems.
• Experience with Figma and UI/UX workflows.
• Experience in hardware/supplier evaluation and technical PoCs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Power Automate.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month
