Full Time Food Services Assistant Jobs, in Pantai Hospital Sungai Petani Kedah - Maukerja

JOB SUMMARY :

• To assist in managing and controlling all aspect of the shift operation of inpatient food prepareation and meal services.
• To be responsible for the maintainenance of cleaning and sanitation in the stewarding area, kitchen, and tray line area and at receiving area at all times.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To provide meal service directly to patient’s bedside and to perform other related duties.

2. Involce in the taking patient menu order, plating and serving patient meals, collecting and washing tray and utensils in daily work.

3. To prepare and serve normal and therapeutic diet as according to the diet list form from ward and patient’s menu order.

4. To follow and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during meal preparation at kitchen.

5. To maintain kitchen cleanliness, sanitation and good personal hygiene at working place.

6. To attend daily briefing and any training arranged by superior.

7. To have a good knowledge on all therapeutic diets and to be competence in using related special kitchen equipment like heated trolley and dishwasher machine.

8. Develop and maintain personal contacts with guests/patient by offering warm, courteous and professional customer service with good personal hygiene and appearance.

9. To assista patient diet services for all the meal time and make suggestions about dishes if patients request or desire.

10. Fulfill patient’s requests for food item when appropriate

11. Responsible to prepare food and packaging the beverage to patients, customers and staff as according to the superior order.

12. Assist food service executive in conducting customer satisfaction survey if required.

13. To do collection and late collection of all the soiled trays from patients upon completion of meal and send them down for washing.

14. To clean all the tray, crockeries and cutleries according to the schedule given and ensure the tray line surrounding area including kitchen, pot wash area, receiving area and dishwashing area keep clean.

15. To clean all tables in service area in the morning, afternoon or evening and when necessary

16. To follow the working roster and cleanliness schedule prepared by superior.

17. To sweep and mop all areas in the department.

18. To remove all garbage trash as per schedule in daily.

19. To wash and sanitize garbage cans, trash carts and food trolley in daily.

20. To ensure receiving area is kept clean at all time.

21. To ensure the fruit & dessert chiller is kept clean and in good arrangement all the time.

22. To replace other staff if required.

23. Participate in hospital community activities, projects and events when required.

Perform any other related duties as assigned by superior.
