Assistant Programme Manager (Lifeskills & Youth Development)
Singapore | Education & Youth Development | Full-Time
Do you enjoy bringing programmes to life, coordinating people and solving problems on the ground?
We are looking for an organised, proactive and hands-on Assistant Programme Manager to support the planning and delivery of Lifeskills and youth development programmes in MOE schools and other educational settings across Singapore.
This is not a purely administrative or desk-based role.
You will be involved across the programme cycle — coordinating schools and trainers, preparing programme resources, managing schedules and logistics, supporting programme delivery and stepping in to resolve operational issues when required.
It is a good opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in education, youth development and programme management and is ready to take increasing ownership of programmes over time.
What You Will Be Doing
Programme Planning & Delivery
- Support the planning, scheduling and implementation of Lifeskills and youth development programmes.
- Coordinate programme timelines, manpower, materials, venues and logistics.
- Track programme requirements, deadlines and deliverables from preparation through completion.
- Prepare programme documents, lesson materials, attendance records and operational information.
- Support the preparation and review of lesson plans, presentation decks, worksheets and programme resources.
- Help ensure programmes are properly prepared and ready for deployment.
Trainer Management & Deployment
A key part of this role is working closely with our pool of trainers.
You will:
- Coordinate trainer scheduling, deployment and confirmations.
- Communicate programme requirements, schedules and briefing information clearly to trainers.
- Track trainer availability, documentation, certifications and deployment readiness.
- Support trainer recruitment, interviews, onboarding and briefings.
- Build positive working relationships with trainers and maintain regular communication with them.
- Follow up before programmes to ensure trainers are prepared and after programmes to address feedback or operational matters.
- Assist in resolving trainer or manpower issues when changes occur.
School & Client Coordination
- Liaise professionally with teachers, school representatives, clients and programme partners.
- Confirm programme schedules, venues, class arrangements and operational requirements.
- Respond quickly to programme changes and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Support programme feedback collection and post-programme follow-up.
- Help ensure schools and clients have a smooth experience working with our programme team.
On-Site Programme Operations
Our programmes take place across different schools and venues in Singapore, so you should be comfortable being involved on the ground when required.
This may include:
- Travelling to schools and programme venues.
- Conducting programme observations and operational checks.
- Supporting trainers during programme deployment.
- Assisting with programme set-up and pack-down.
- Preparing, organising and moving programme materials and equipment.
- Troubleshooting operational issues during programme delivery.
- Supporting students and programme teams where necessary.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate programme, trainer and deployment records.
- Update programme trackers, spreadsheets and internal systems.
- Organise documentation required for reporting, invoicing and audit purposes.
- Assist with programme reports, proposals, presentations and related documentation.
- Ensure programme information is accurate, organised and up to date.
What We Are Looking For
MOE Instructor Registration System (MOE IRS) registration is required for this position.
You should ideally have:
- A Diploma or Degree in Education, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Resource, Events, Project Management or a related field.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to coordinate several programmes, schedules and deadlines concurrently.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Confidence communicating with trainers, teachers, clients and other stakeholders.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and/or Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A resourceful and solutions-oriented approach to problems.
- The ability to follow through on tasks without requiring constant supervision.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where programme arrangements may change.
Experience in education, enrichment programmes, youth work, training, events, programme operations or project coordination will be an advantage.
AI & Digital Skills
We are actively looking for people who are comfortable using technology to work smarter.
Experience using AI and digital tools for areas such as:
- Research
- Content and lesson development
- Presentation development
- Documentation
- Programme planning
- Data organisation
- Productivity and workflow improvement
will be an advantage.
You do not need to be an AI expert, but you should be curious, adaptable and willing to learn new tools that can improve the quality and efficiency of your work.
You May Be a Good Fit If You…
- Enjoy organising programmes and seeing them successfully delivered.
- Like coordinating people and keeping multiple moving parts organised.
- Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do next.
- Naturally follow up and make sure things get completed.
- Stay calm when schedules or programme arrangements change.
- Are comfortable communicating with trainers, teachers and students.
- Enjoy both planning work in the office and being involved in programme operations on the ground.
- Have an interest in Lifeskills, Social-Emotional Learning, youth development and education.
- Want to develop towards greater responsibility in programme management.
This Role May Not Be Suitable If…
This is probably not the right role if you are looking for a purely administrative, desk-based or work-from-home position.
Programme management in education requires flexibility. There will be occasions when you need to visit schools, help resolve last-minute manpower or programme issues, prepare materials or support programme teams on-site.
We are looking for someone who is willing to take ownership and help make programmes work — not simply coordinate them from behind a desk.
