Mechanical Engineer

AIS Malaysia is looking for Mechanical Engineers who will be involved in the M&E design, specification, and delivery of various projects, including rail & transit, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role requires working closely with other team members and assisting the Mechanical Lead to ensure the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design and planning for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to integrate M&E systems effectively with other disciplines and external parties.
• Provide technical support in the development of design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Assist in prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and client review.
• Support project delivery by attending meetings, providing updates, and addressing any technical challenges that arise.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or any related field from an accredited institution.
• Must be registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical system design, preferably in the consulting or construction field.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD or other design tools).
• Personnel with experience in railway projects and REVIT is encouraged to apply (Optional).
