Zapdos Labs is a US based venture backed startup building AI video systems for the physical world.

Our technology turns existing cameras inside factories, warehouses, and critical infrastructure into intelligent systems that can understand what is happening, detect risk, and help teams operate safer and more efficiently.

We’re looking for a Business Development Intern who moves fast, thinks from first principles, and can turn an unexplored market into conversations, customers, and revenue.

• Find industrial companies and partners where Zapdos can create measurable value.
• Research accounts deeply and identify the right decision-makers.
• Run targeted outbound across email, LinkedIn, calls, and emerging channels.
• Turn cold prospects into conversations, pilots, and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare sharp account briefs, proposals, and customer meeting materials.
• Keep opportunities moving and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Test new industries, geographies, messaging, and go-to-market experiments.
• Use AI and automation to make yourself dramatically more effective.
• Work directly with the founders on strategic accounts and new market opportunities.

• Move before everything is perfectly defined.
• Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions.
• Are curious enough to learn how factories, warehouses, ports, and infrastructure actually operate.
• Can communicate confidently with operators, engineers, executives, and enterprise buyers.
• Are persistent and comfortable hearing “no.”
• Turn messy information into a clear next action.
• Like experimenting, measuring what works, and iterating quickly.
• Want to help build the intelligence layer for the physical world.

Experience in enterprise sales, startups, AI, manufacturing, or tools like HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, and Sales Navigator is useful, but not required.
