Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing buildings and spaces. The Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects meet design, safety, and budget requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs, concepts, and presentations in line with client requirements and project objectives.
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD, BIM, or other design software.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and material selection to support project planning.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and interior designers to ensure structural integrity, functionality, and design consistency.
- Oversee construction progress and ensure adherence to architectural plans, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and project documentation.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, building technologies, and regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with clients to explain design concepts, progress updates, and project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Licensed Architect (where applicable) or eligible for licensure.
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Excellent visualization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and client management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with sustainable and green building design.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of cost estimation and value engineering.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
