JOB SUMMARY 

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving manufacturing processes for PCBA products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production. The role focuses on enhancing product quality, process efficiency, yield improvement, and supporting manufacturing operations to achieve operational excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and assembly procedures for PCBA products.
• Lead process engineering activities for NPI projects, including production line setup, tooling/jig planning, equipment selection, and layout planning.
• Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities and provide manufacturing input during product development.
• Investigate manufacturing issues, conduct failure analysis, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive process optimization, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Coordinate implementation of engineering changes (ECN) and product design updates.
• Design and validate production equipment, tooling, and fixtures to improve quality, efficiency, and operator safety.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and production personnel on manufacturing processes and best practices.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve operational efficiency and product quality.
• Participate in production and yield review meetings to resolve engineering issues and support production targets.

EDUCATION AND RELATED SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Process Engineering within PCBA, EMS, or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting NPI and mass production activities is an advantage.
