Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field.
- Experience in industrial machinery, automation, machine servicing or equipment maintenance will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
- Able to read and understand electrical/pneumatic drawings.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, motors, valves and industrial control systems is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to travel frequently to customer sites.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Possess a valid driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-house inspection, maintenance, repair and servicing of gluing equipment and machines.
- Perform on-site machine servicing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance at customer locations.
- Install, commission and set up new gluing systems and equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct online and offline diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control-related problems.
- Troubleshoot adhesive application issues and identify the root cause of machine or process problems.
- Conduct machine trials and adhesive application trials to support customers in achieving the required production results.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on machine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform machine calibration, parameter setting and system optimization where required.
- Provide technical training and demonstrations to customers and machine operators.
- Prepare service reports, installation reports and other relevant technical documentation.
- Work closely with the Sales and Application teams to support customer projects and new machine installations.
- Assist in machine modification, improvement and customization according to customer requirements.
- Provide technical support remotely through phone, email or online communication when required.
- Travel to customer sites within Malaysia and occasionally overseas when required.
- Ensure all service and installation work is carried out safely and according to company procedures.
