We're Hiring: Assistant Manager, Guest Services

We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Guest Services to join our client's team and play a key role in ensuring seamless guest operations and service excellence.
Our client is a prestigious luxury hotel located in the heart of Singapore, offering world-class accommodation, dining, events, and highly personalized guest experiences. The property is part of a globally recognized international hospitality group and operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment serving luxury leisure travelers, corporate guests, VIPs, and international groups.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure strategic manpower deployment to support daily operations, peak periods, and high-profile events while maintaining productivity and service standards.
Oversee and coordinate group arrivals, departures, and guest movements to ensure smooth driveway operations and traffic flow.
Work closely with Convention Services and Event Organizers to ensure accurate handling of group luggage, deliveries, and event logistics.
Prepare and manage staff rosters to balance operational efficiency, team wellbeing, and cost control.
Personally oversee the arrival, rooming, and departure of VIP and key guests, ensuring all preferences and special arrangements are flawlessly executed.
Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and driveway during critical guest flow periods.
Respond effectively to emergency situations, prioritizing guest and colleague safety at all times.
Lead, coach, and develop the Guest Services team through structured training, performance management, and continuous development initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within the hospitality industry.
Hands-on experience with OPERA Cloud PMS and hotel systems interfaced with PABX and other operational platforms.
Strong understanding and experience in Bell Services, Concierge, and Valet Operations.
Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field, with relevant hotel operations experience.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills. Knowledge of a second language is an advantage.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and guide teams.
Proactive, service-oriented mindset with a passion for continuously enhancing the guest experience.
