Position: Accounts Executive (AP)

Employment Type: 6 months contract - leading to permanent based on performance

Salary: Up to RM2,800

Job Description:

• Process and verify supplier invoices and supporting documents.
• Record invoices and payments accurately into the accounting system.
• Prepare payment schedules and payment requests.
• Monitor supplier statements and perform account reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing of invoices, payment documents, and AP records.
• Assist with month-end closing and AP reporting.
• Ensure payments are made according to agreed payment terms.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on invoice and payment matters.
• Support audit requirements and other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
