Primary Responsibilities:
1. Automation Project Development
- Design and develop automation projects, focusing on machine vision inspection and customized automation solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and deliverables.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots, including robotic arms, grippers, sensors, and vision systems.
2. Programming and Software Development
- Write and update code in C#, VB, VC++, and PLC to support automation projects.
- Maintain and enhance existing software and circuitry to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality and performance of automated systems.
- Proficient in PLC programming for automation control systems, including ladder logic programming and HMI interface design.
3. Project Modification and Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement in existing projects and implement modifications to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of modifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Optimize robot performance through continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on robotic systems operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the design and implementation of robotic automation systems.
4. Design, Wiring, and Implementation
- Design electrical and electronic systems for automation projects, including schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Oversee the installation, wiring, and commissioning of automated systems.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support and Training
- Provide technical support and training for education training equipment.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate end-users on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues for customers and internal teams.
2. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and technical reports.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, change logs, and testing results.
3. Ad hoc Tasks
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in designing, programming, and implementing automation systems. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB, VC++, and PLC.
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic systems design, wiring, and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and technologies in automation (preferred).
- Experience with industrial automation and control systems (preferred).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
