Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Project Manager / Site Manager in the daily planning, coordination and execution of site works.

- Supervise construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams on technical and construction matters.

- Monitor daily site progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule.

- Check construction drawings and identify any discrepancies, technical issues or clashes before execution.

- Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI), site inspection records and other required technical documentation.

- Conduct site inspections and ensure workmanship and materials comply with approved standards and specifications.

- Assist in resolving technical and construction issues at site.

- Coordinate architectural, structural and M&E works to minimise construction conflicts.

- Monitor manpower, materials, machinery and site resources to support project progress.

- Prepare daily or weekly progress reports and update management on site progress, issues and required actions.

- Ensure subcontractors follow approved construction methods, quality requirements and site instructions.

- Assist in checking measurements and completed works for progress claims when required.

- Maintain proper records of drawings, site instructions, inspection reports, test reports and technical submissions.

- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings and inspections with consultants and clients when required.

- Work closely with the Safety Team to ensure site activities comply with safety requirements.

- Ensure all works comply with company quality procedures, project specifications and relevant authority requirements.

- Carry out any other site-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Site Manager.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Engineering or related field.

- Preferably 2–5 years of relevant working experience in building construction.

- Experience in factory, industrial or commercial building projects will be an advantage.

- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings.

- Good knowledge of construction methods, site coordination and quality control.

- Able to communicate effectively with consultants, subcontractors and site teams.

- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.

- Able to work independently and under site conditions.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of other construction software is an advantage.

- Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge may also be considered for junior positions.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
