Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and maintain robust IT infrastructure, network, and security solutions with a focus on Cisco network and firewall platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless, load-balancer, firewalls, Meraki, DNAC, and IPAM, and must be capable of developing high-availability, scalable network solutions aligned with business needs.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Network Design & Implementation
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise networking components, including IP network subnets, LAN/WAN/wireless, firewalls, load balancers, Meraki, and VPN gateways.
- Plan and execute data center and office network migrations, deployments, and optimizations to enhance performance and scalability.
- Develop and implement solutions for complex network challenges in enterprise environments.
- Define and maintain network standards, HLD/LLD design documentation, and procedures.
Operations, Monitoring & Support
- Deploy, manage, and monitor network resources across the global infrastructure.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring of IT network and security environments.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolution.
- Manage incidents and changes via ServiceNow, including P1/P2 incident resolution and change management processes.
Security, Compliance & Business Continuity
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure network security, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure network security and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Develop strategies for network device backup, recovery, and failover mechanisms to ensure business continuity.
Collaboration, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Document network configurations, policies, and best practices for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to provide network and security solutions for the business.
- Evaluate network technologies and adopt automation tools and templates to improve efficiency and performance.
- Work as a team, share knowledge, and train junior team members.
Job Specification
Technical Skills
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise network technologies, including SD-WAN, BGP, wireless network solutions, Cisco IP VPN, F5 Load Balancer, and Meraki.
- Hands-on experience with Nexus switches — configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Advanced network security expertise, including Cisco firewalls (ASA, FTD, FMC).
- Strong F5 load balancer solutioning and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NTP, RADIUS, and TACACS.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and packet analyzers.
- Experience with Cisco DNAC solutions across edge and border layers.
- Experience designing high-availability, disaster recovery, and failover solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and DMZ network traffic management.
Documentation & Process Skills
- Good knowledge of HLD/LLD documentation preparation.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Cisco CCNP-equivalent switching and routing certification.
- Cisco CCNA and CCNP-Security certifications.
- Cloud-based network certification (AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
- Exposure to network automation tools and scripting.
- ITIL certification is an advantage.
Experience Required
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in network architecture.

Education

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
