Job Description:

Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting customs declaration documents for import, export, and transshipment shipments in compliance with applicable customs regulations and procedures. The role includes ensuring all supporting documents are complete and accurate, coordinating with internal departments, customers, forwarding agents, and customs authorities, and maintaining proper records of all declarations and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and process customs declaration forms for import, export, and transshipment shipments.
- Ensure all declarations comply with customs regulations and company requirements.
-Verify the accuracy and completeness of invoices, packing lists, permits, and other supporting documents.
- Maintain organized filing and documentation records.
- Monitor declaration status and resolve any discrepancies or delays.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in customs declaration and documentation.
- Ability to prepare and submit K1, K2, K3, K8, and K9 customs declaration forms.
- Basic knowledge of K8 customs declaration forms is required.
- Proficiency in preparing and submitting ZB forms will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with import and export procedures and customs regulations.
- Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
