Role Description

The Sales Associate supports hotel revenue growth by developing client relationships, generating business leads, preparing proposals, following up on opportunities, and promoting hotel facilities. The role works closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of bookings and events, while supporting sales campaigns and market networking.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Sales, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Good organization and time management

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel/CRM systems

• Previous hotel sales or hospitality experience preferred

• Knowledge of the Kuching market is an advantage

• Diploma/degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

• Able to work on-site in Kuching and conduct occasional client visits
