The opportunity

Content is at the centre of how we communicate with audiences.

Cachet Media is looking for a Content Specialist who can take a brief, find the right angle and turn it into clear, engaging content for digital channels. You will be involved in both the planning and production side of content, with room to contribute ideas rather than simply work from a fixed content calendar.

The position covers written, social and digital content, so it will suit someone who enjoys switching between different formats and understanding what makes content relevant to its intended audience.

Your work will include

Content development

• Write and edit content for websites, social platforms, campaigns and other digital channels.
• Turn marketing briefs and business information into easy-to-understand content.
• Develop headlines, captions, short-form copy and supporting campaign materials.
• Adapt existing content for different platforms, audiences and formats.
• Maintain a consistent tone and quality across published materials.

Planning & ideas

• Contribute ideas for new content themes, campaign concepts and social media formats.
• Help maintain content calendars and coordinate upcoming publishing requirements.
• Research relevant topics, audience interests and industry developments.
• Review competitor and market activity to identify useful content opportunities.

Social & digital

• Support day-to-day content publishing across relevant social media channels.
• Assist with short-form video concepts, scripts, storyboards and basic content production where required.
• Work with designers, editors or other creative partners to bring content ideas into production.
• Ensure content is prepared according to the requirements of each platform.

Review & improvement

• Monitor content performance through views, engagement, reach, traffic and other relevant metrics.
• Identify content that performs well and recommend ways to build on those results.
• Make updates to existing content when information, messaging or performance requirements change.
• Assist with monthly or campaign-based content reporting.

What you should bring

We are interested in people who can combine good writing with practical content judgement.

• Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, Journalism, English or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in content, copywriting, digital marketing, social media or a similar role.
• Strong written English with good attention to grammar, structure and tone.
• Able to write for different audiences and adjust content for different platforms.
• Comfortable researching topics independently and turning information into useful content.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content formats.
• Basic knowledge of content performance metrics and digital marketing is preferred.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools or similar creative software would be an advantage.
• Organised, responsive and able to manage several pieces of content at different stages of production.

A portfolio or examples of previous content work will be useful for applicants with relevant experience.
