Optical Retail Manager

We are seeking an experienced Optical Retail Manager to oversee store operations, drive sales targets, and elevate our team's technical dispensing skills. This is a hands-on position designed for an optical professional with potential to expand into multi-store regional management. You will work directly on the shop floor to coach staff in sales techniques, precision frame fitting, and advanced lens recommendations while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership: Drive store performance, achieve revenue KPIs, and train retail staff on consultative selling and frame styling.
• Technical Coaching: Guide the team on optical technicalities, precise measurements, lens selections (progressives, coatings, materials), and handling customer dispensing issues.
• Quality & Precision: Maintain high standards of accuracy in order processing, frame fitting, and quality checks—paying strict attention to operational details.
• Store Operations: Manage inventory, store presentations, staff scheduling, and customer service standards across operating hours.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven background in optical retail with expertise in both prescription eyewear sales and technical dispensing.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional focus on precision measurement, accurate record-keeping, and operational standards.
• Availability: Flexible to work according to shopping mall operating hours, including mandatory weekends and public holidays.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
