The Role
You will teach Maths or Science and help students understand concepts clearly, think scientifically, and apply what they learn. You will work with a supportive team, use well-designed materials, and receive structured training and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build curiosity and deep understanding
- Create a positive, respectful classroom where students feel safe to try and improve
- Design and refine teaching resources aligned to the latest syllabus
- Track student progress, identify gaps early, and provide targeted support
- Communicate clearly with parents on learning progress and next steps
- Contribute to centre activities, including events and enrichment programmes
- Participate in training and coaching to strengthen your teaching practice
Required Skills and Qualifications (Must-haves)
- Strong ability to teach Maths or Science with clarity and structure
- Genuine interest in student learning and development
- Confident classroom presence and good rapport with children
- Collaborative mindset and reliable follow-through
- Able to commit to at least 2 years
- Comfortable working a 5-day week that includes Saturdays and Sundays
Desirable Skills (Nice-to-haves)
- Experience designing teaching resources or curriculum materials
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience (centre or school setting)
