About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our Digital Banking Technology team. The ideal candidate should have a strong backend development background with expertise in Java technologies and experience working in enterprise digital banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support backend services and applications for Digital Banking platforms.
• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs, microservices, and enterprise applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, UI developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  
  

Mandatory Technical Skills

• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in backend application development.
• Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Strong backend development expertise using Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Experience developing RESTful services and enterprise integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Apache Camel (CXF) for enterprise integration.
• Good understanding of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience performing code reviews and following secure coding best practices.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in banking or financial services technology.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
