Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Store & Inventory Coordinator to manage our day-to-day store operations and ensure that physical stock, inventory records and system quantities are accurate and properly maintained.
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure that all stock movements are properly recorded and that discrepancies between physical stock and system records are identified and resolved promptly.
This position will work closely with Production, Sales, Purchasing, Finance and Warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records and smooth material flow.
Key Responsibilities
Store & Inventory Management
- Manage daily store operations and ensure proper arrangement and storage of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
- Monitor and record all stock receiving, issuing, transferring and returning activities.
- Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded in the inventory system.
- Maintain accurate stock records for all SKUs and materials.
- Ensure proper stock identification, labelling and storage.
- Follow FIFO / FEFO principles where applicable.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight low-stock or excess-stock situations.
Stock Accuracy & Reconciliation
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and stock take.
- Reconcile physical stock against system stock and investigate discrepancies.
- Identify the causes of stock variances and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve them.
- Ensure production output, stock transfers, sales issues and returns are properly reflected in the system.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and supporting documents.
- Prepare stock variance and inventory reports when required.
System & Data Management
- Update and maintain inventory information in AutoCount / ERP / inventory management systems.
- Ensure item codes, descriptions, quantities and stock movements are recorded accurately.
- Check system transactions regularly to identify missing, incorrect or duplicated entries.
- Assist in maintaining accurate SKU and inventory master data.
- Coordinate with system / IT support when there are inventory system issues.
Coordination with Other Departments
- Coordinate with Production for finished goods and production-related stock movements.
- Coordinate with Purchasing for incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Sales and Logistics for finished goods issuing and delivery requirements.
- Work with Finance to support stock valuation, reconciliation and month-end inventory closing.
- Communicate stock discrepancies and operational issues to the relevant departments.
Warehouse & Store Operations
- Ensure the store is clean, organised and properly maintained.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically.
- Monitor the condition and expiry dates of materials and finished products where applicable.
- Assist in improving store layout, stock arrangement and inventory control procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements.
Reporting
- Prepare daily / weekly / monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor stock accuracy and inventory variance.
- Maintain records of stock counts and adjustments.
- Provide inventory information to management when required.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Business Administration or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in store, warehouse, inventory or stock control is preferred.
- Manufacturing / FMCG / food industry experience is an advantage.
- Experience using AutoCount, ERP, WMS or other inventory management systems is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience in stock reconciliation and physical stock counting is preferred.
- Good organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to identify and investigate stock discrepancies.
- Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to work in Batu Pahat, Johor.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
