Job Summary
Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd is looking for a Project Engineer – Solar PV to join our growing project team. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising solar PV projects from site analysis and planning through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
This role is suitable for an engineer with strong project coordination skills who enjoys working on-site and solving technical issues in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and coordinate solar PV site surveys and site assessments.
- Support solar PV system design, technical planning, and energy production analysis.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities for solar PV installation.
- Monitor project progress, schedule, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources.
- Ensure installation works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
- Provide technical support to installation teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct site inspections and identify technical, construction, and quality issues.
- Investigate problems and develop appropriate corrective action plans.
- Assist with solar PV testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and handover.
- Prepare timely site progress reports, field operation reports, and project updates.
- Ensure compliance with company safety requirements, CIDB requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Travel to project sites and client locations across Malaysia as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related engineering field.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar PV, electrical engineering, project engineering, construction, or renewable energy.
- Fresh graduates with relevant solar PV internship/project experience are encouraged to apply.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, PVsyst, HelioScope, and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of solar PV systems and installation practices.
- Good project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with contractors and project teams.
- Willing to travel to project sites within Malaysia.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
