Job Summary
The Beautician is responsible for providing professional beauty and personal care services to clients while maintaining high standards of hygiene, customer service, and treatment quality. Candidate should be friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about beauty treatments and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional beauty treatments such as facials, skin treatments, waxing, manicures, pedicures, and other services offered by the salon.
- STRICTLY NO BODY MASSAGE !
- Conduct client consultations to understand clients’ needs, concerns, and desired treatment outcomes.
- Assess clients’ skin and recommend suitable treatments and products where appropriate.
- Provide professional advice on skincare, beauty routines, and aftercare.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure clients have a comfortable and pleasant experience.
- Explain treatment procedures, benefits, precautions, and aftercare instructions to clients.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper sanitation of treatment rooms, equipment, tools, and work areas.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before and after each appointment.
- Follow the salon’s operating procedures, safety guidelines, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records where required.
- Recommend suitable beauty products and treatments based on clients’ needs and the company’s product range.
- Assist with stock checking and ensure beauty products and treatment supplies are properly maintained.
- Handle client feedback and complaints professionally and refer serious matters to the supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the salon’s standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other beauticians and salon staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Attend training and product knowledge sessions to continuously improve treatment and service standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Relevant beautician, beauty therapy, cosmetology, or skincare certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a beauty salon, spa, or aesthetic-related environment is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, pleasant, and customer-oriented personality.
- Good knowledge of beauty treatments, skincare products, and hygiene practices.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
