Senior IT Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Senior IT Executive to support our day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems and technology projects.

You will be responsible for providing end-user support, maintaining IT infrastructure and systems, managing hardware and access controls, coordinating with vendors, and supporting cybersecurity and IT projects across the organisation.

Beyond traditional IT support, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our growing digital healthcare initiatives, including system integrations, workflow automation, patient-facing platforms, data dashboards and the practical adoption of AI technologies.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems independently and exploring how technology can improve the way an organisation operates.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Support

• Provide day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, network and system-related issues.

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting both remotely and on-site.

• Set up and manage user accounts, email accounts, access rights and permissions.

• Support IT requirements for employee onboarding and offboarding.

• Provide guidance to users on IT systems, cybersecurity and good IT practices.

Network, Infrastructure & Systems

• Maintain and support LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs and internet connectivity.

• Support servers, storage, cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365.

• Perform system upgrades, patches, configuration changes and routine maintenance.

• Monitor system performance, backups and disaster recovery readiness.

• Install, configure and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices and other IT equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of IT hardware, software licences and technology assets.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

• Maintain appropriate user access controls and security settings.

• Support endpoint security, antivirus, firewall, patching and other cybersecurity measures.

• Assist with investigation and response to security incidents, vulnerabilities and major system issues.

• Support compliance with organisational IT policies, data protection requirements and PDPA obligations.

Vendor & Project Management

• Liaise with external IT vendors, software providers and technology partners.

• Coordinate technical support, procurement, repairs, replacements and warranties.

• Support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations and technology rollouts.

• Assist with the implementation, testing and integration of new systems.

• Coordinate with internal departments, developers and vendors to ensure successful system implementation and adoption.

Digital Healthcare & Technology Initiatives

• Support the development and improvement of patient portals, dashboards and other digital platforms.

• Work with internal teams and developers to translate operational requirements into practical technology solutions.

• Support system and data integrations across clinical, laboratory, imaging and administrative systems.

• Assist with workflow automation and digitalisation of operational processes.

• Participate in testing, troubleshooting and quality assurance of new digital products and features.

• Explore practical applications of AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve business and healthcare workflows.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant hands-on IT experience.

• Good knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, networking, hardware and end-user support.

• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, routers and VPNs.

• Experience with user access management, endpoint management and basic IT security.

• Basic understanding of servers, cloud infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve IT issues.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Comfortable supporting users across different levels of the organisation and coordinating with external vendors.

Good to Have

Candidates with exposure to any of the following will have an added advantage:

• AI and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms.

• Workflow automation, APIs, webhooks and system integrations.

• Low-code/no-code development or rapid prototyping tools.

• Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Supabase, Firebase or similar technologies.

• Dashboards, reporting tools and data visualisation.

• Web applications, mobile applications or customer/patient portals.

• Healthcare, medical, clinic or other regulated environments.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinic management systems, Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), radiology systems or other healthcare applications.

• HL7, FHIR or healthcare system integrations.
