Founded in 1984 in Singapore, Fitson specializes in producing high quality baby and mother care products for well-established international baby brands. Fitson provides a full scope of services which encompasses the initial stages of design conceptualisation, tool design & fabrication, product innovation, manufacturing to complete packaging and delivery.
What do you need do in this role:
To conduct product testing during R&D stage or any engineering change. Preparation of testing report after testing completed.
Monitor the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible.
To liaise closely with Production and Tooling Department to find solution of product quality issue.
To prepare the ISO’s procedure and work instructions and all parties are comply to it.
To handle customer complaints, including conduct root causes analysis and work together with production team for corrective actions.
To prepare customer complaint analysis report.
Trouble shooting, reporting and highlighting variance / defects.
Maintain and execute QA laboratory in line with internal product testing requirements.
To report major quality, environment, OH&S non-conformity and ISO MR.
Implement preventive action for quality, environment and OH&S controls.
What do you need to have to be successful in this role:
Minimum STPM / Diploma / Advanced /Degree holders or its equivalent.
Knowledge of plastic, rubber, silicone mechanical structure will be an added advantage.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills including strong written and verbal communication skills.
