The SSC Center Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Shared Services Center (SSC), ensuring efficient, accurate, and high-quality HR service delivery, including regional payroll administration, HR operations, onboarding, and offboarding processes.


Responsibilities

SSC Operations Management

  • Lead and manage end-to-end SSC operations, including regional payroll processing, HR administration, onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain SOPs, internal controls, and service standards.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.


Team Leadership

  • Supervise and develop SSC team members to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Allocate workload and manage performance within the team.
  • Provide training and guidance to ensure compliance and process adherence.


Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for operational HR matters.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Manage external payroll vendors or service providers where applicable.


Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies in all operational processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and records.
  • Prepare regular operational and payroll reports for management review.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or shared services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and HR administrative processes.
  • Experience in managing or supervising a team preferred.
  • Strong organizational and process management skills.
  • Experience in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
