Responsibilities
Job Summary
Provide assistance in a variety of skilled maintenance and minor repair services on a routine preventive and corrective basis for equipment to ensure all equipment are well maintained.
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance and repair work, ensuring minimum turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections to meet daily service standards and according to job order.
Notify Team-Leader/Service Coordinator or unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts recommendations.
Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and tidiness in the workshop, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
Ensure proper handling of products and good housekeeping of work areas.
Practise safe and good engineering practices in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and procedures.
Complete work order for each unit serviced, listing items replaced and materials used, repair notes and test results.
Perform other related duties as required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience.
Good communication skills.
Able to work independently and takes initiative to resolve issues.
Well organised and disciplined.
