Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, payments, and other finance-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain proper records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and credit notes.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Process supplier payments and verify supporting documents.
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing activities and fixed asset.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and accounting records.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local tax and statutory requirements is an advantage.
