Position: Maintenance Technician

Position Type: Part-Time / On-Demand (Work as requested)

Locations: Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI) & Damansara Perdana

MB Hotel Group is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to oversee facility upkeep and manage technical repairs across our properties in TTDI and Damansara Perdana. Work assignments will be scheduled on an on-demand basis.

Due to work permit restrictions, this position is open only to Malaysian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia.

Core Responsibilities

General Repairs

• Perform painting touch-ups, door adjustments, flooring repairs, and door lock maintenance
• Repair hotel furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures
• Remove old silicone sealant around sinks and apply new caulking

HVAC Systems

• Manage basic AC servicing, filter cleaning, routine upkeep, and operational troubleshooting
• Monitor water heating systems and ventilation units

Electrical Upkeep

• Replace lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets
• Troubleshoot and resolve tripped circuits
• Inspect keycard access systems and emergency lighting

Plumbing Maintenance

• Clear blockages in sinks, toilets, and drains
• Repair flush tanks and pipe leaks

Exterior Upkeep

• Perform minor facade touch-ups, pressure washing, and outdoor lighting maintenance

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven practical experience in general property maintenance and repairs
• High level of reliability and responsiveness to scheduled work requests
• Possess personal transportation to travel between designated sites
