Our member company is seeking a meticulous and motivated Electrical Manager to join the team In this role, you will play a critical part in leading and managing multiple electrical construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. Provide technical leadership by reviewing engineering designs, resolving project issues, overseeing testing and commissioning activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and site teams to drive project success, optimize resources, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.

Job Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously.
• Plan, organize, and oversee project execution from commencement to completion.
• Develop project schedules, work plans, manpower deployment, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are achieved within the approved timeline.
• Review project specifications, contract documents, and construction drawings.
• Manage project budgets, monitor project costs, and control expenditures.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for Management.

Engineering & Technical Management

• Review electrical engineering drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering solutions to site teams.
• Resolve engineering and technical issues arising during project execution.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and Singapore Standards.
• Review material submissions, technical submittals, and equipment specifications.
• Oversee electrical testing, inspection, commissioning, and system handover.

Site Management

• Supervise Project Engineers, Electrical Supervisors, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Ensure site activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, productivity, and compliance.
• Coordinate daily site activities and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor labour productivity and optimise manpower utilization.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and main contractors on electrical-related matters.
• Attend project meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.
• Prepare and present project updates to clients and Management.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Respond promptly to client enquiries and technical issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in electrical construction or M&E projects, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in the construction, semiconductor, or industrial industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and project management.
• Familiar with Singapore safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
