JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Supervisor Production

Department: Operations

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of Manufacturing Specialists (Operators and Technical Specialists) in executing assembly processes. This role is critical in achieving business goals related to building schedules, shipment targets, quality, productivity, cycle time, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

1. Diploma / Degree.

• At least 3 or 4 years manufacturing supervisor experience.
• For senior - 5-10 years manufacturing supervisor experience.
• Strong communication (shopfloor + with stakeholder), accountability mindset and decision making ability.
• Managing at least 20-30 people
• Have production knowledge. E.g work instruction, SOP, production planning
• Ability to manage production output
• Have quality mindset and know basic quality tools such as 5 WHY, fishbone, pareto
• Have lean mindset such as lean manufacturing, kaizen, 5s
• Ability to work under pressure especially in high volume environments
• Have knowledge of production system such as CTS, MES, ERP and data tracking/reporting.
• Lead daily shift meetings to address yield, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and operational concerns.
• Plan and allocate resources (manpower, materials, equipment, space) to meet production schedules and cost/quality targets.
• Ensure adherence to SPC tools, process specifications, control plans, and test procedures to maintain product quality.
• Drive compliance with safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards, including 5S and World Class Manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operators, technicians, engineers, trainers) to enhance workforce capability and resolve production issues.
• Deploy production goals and KPIs to teams and individuals; initiate corrective actions to meet targets.
• Lead structured improvement initiatives to enhance line performance and efficiency.
• Act as Emergency Response Team Commander (training provided).
• Ensure compliance with PSCS (Product Safety & Compliance Standards) policies and procedures.
• Accountable to take appropriate disciplinary actions in cases of non-compliance with attendance, housekeeping, or safety standards, in accordance with company policies.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
