WE ARE HIRING — ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

An established law firm located in Karamunsing, Kota Kinabalu, is seeking a dependable and experienced Account Executive to join its team.

This position is ideal for an organised and hands-on accounting professional who can work independently and is looking to build a stable, long-term career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently manage a full set of accounts using the UBS Accounting System
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, general ledger and bank reconciliation
• Manage daily accounting operations, including issuing cheques, processing online banking transactions and updating accounting records
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, supporting schedules and management records
• Handle e-Invoicing, payroll and statutory submissions, including PCB and Form E through MyTax
• Prepare and submit SST returns, where applicable
• Maintain proper filing, documentation and data entry
• Assist with general human resources, administrative and clerical matters

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma, LCCI, Certificate in Accounting or Finance, or another relevant qualification
• At least three (3) years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience handling a full set of accounts
• Proficient in the UBS Accounting System, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Responsible, honest, meticulous and detail-oriented
• Well-organised and able to prioritise work effectively
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to building a long-term career
• Previous working experience in a legal firm will be an added advantage

SALARY & BENEFITS

Monthly salary: RM3,500.00 to RM4,000.00, commensurate with qualifications, skills and relevant experience
Annual bonus and salary increment based on individual and firm performance

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
