We are looking for a highly capable and driven Human Resources Manager to lead and strengthen our HR function while supporting the company’s growth journey. This role is open to experienced Assistant Managers ready to step up into a managerial position, particularly those with strong hands-on experience in HR operations and foreign worker management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping HR strategies, building a positive work culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering closely with management to drive organizational success.
This role requires strong experience in foreign worker management, Immigration matters, and workforce planning within the F&B or hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Partner closely with Management on manpower planning and organizational development.
- Provide HR insights and data-driven recommendations to support business decisions.
Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as a bridge between management and employees in handling workplace issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and motivation initiatives.
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning strategies across multiple outlets.
- Develop succession planning and retention programs to support business growth.
Performance & Compensation
- Oversee performance appraisal processes to enhance accountability and productivity.
- Manage compensation structures, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
Foreign Worker & Immigration Management
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of foreign worker administration, including quota application, renewal, and workforce allocation.
- Liaise directly with Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia, KDN, JTK, and related authorities on quota approvals, PLKS, levy payments, and compliance matters.
- Oversee and monitor:
- Foreign worker quota application & justification
- Work permit (PLKS) application and renewal
- Levy payments and tracking
- FOMEMA medical arrangements
- Visa endorsement and documentation
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Immigration laws and Employment Act.
- Oversee hostel compliance and documentation in accordance with labor regulations.
- Handle absconded cases, permit cancellations, and reporting requirements.
HR Systems & Compliance
- Oversee HR policies, systems, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Identify training needs and drive learning & development initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper HR documentation and audit readiness.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in an Assistant Manager or equivalent supervisory role.
- Candidates with strong Assistant Manager experience who are ready to step up are encouraged to apply.
- Proven hands-on experience in Immigration matters, quota application, PLKS, levy, and FOMEMA processes.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage or Hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Immigration regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Able to manage multi-outlet workforce operations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
