Responsibilities
- Collaborate with construction teams to prepare accurate Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Open Tender documents.
- Identify and engage potential tenderers and subcontractors by sending RFQ invitations.
- Manage communication to resolve queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction teams during the RFQ stage.
- Organize and coordinate post-tender interviews involving tenderers, construction, quantity surveying, and contracts teams.
- Support the Quantity Surveying (QS) and Contracts Managers in handling quantity surveying tasks related to Sub-Contracts, Works Orders, and Purchase Orders.
- Administer subcontract documentation and maintain accurate records for the contracts team.
- Process and verify payment requests submitted by subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely payments.
- Execute additional ad hoc tasks as assigned by the QS Manager or Contracts Manager.
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Purchasing/Procurement, Business, or Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and subcontract administration within construction projects.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Contract/Construction Law.
- Experience working independently on large-scale process-related construction projects.
