Role Description

The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Bahru, responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of Chowdhury Group’s operations.

This position manages budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of information to leadership. The role includes monitoring key financial metrics, conducting variance analysis, and providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions.

The Finance Manager will supervise finance team members, coordinate with internal departments and external auditors, and help maintain robust internal controls and efficient financial processes. The role also involves supporting tax planning, regulatory filings, and continuous improvement of financial systems and practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and compliance, including preparation of management reports, regulatory filings, and adherence to accounting standards.
