Able Global Berhad ("AGB") formerly known as Johore Tin Berhad ("JTB" ) and its group of companies are in the business of manufacturing various types of tins, cans, and other containers, and printing tinplates for industrial purposes with each subsidiary catering to their respective niche market segment. Able Global Berhad Group is perceived to be among the top three (3) largest tin can manufacturers in Malaysia in terms of estimated output capacity per annum and their list of clientele include Mondelez (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Sime Darby, Yeo Hiap Seng (M) Sdn Bhd, Hup Seng Perusahaan Makanan (M), Munchy Food Industries Sdn Bhd, Seamaster, Hwa Tai Biscuit, Lee Pineapple, and Nippon Paint (M) Sdn Bhd. In Malaysia, the Group currently operates located in Johor Darul Takzim, its own premises at Skudai, and two (2) other location in Selangor and Penang. The production facilities and business premises are strategically located within close proximity to some of its major customers in the Johor region, thus improving both its operating efficiency and delivery times. This factory improves the efficiency of the manufacturing processes of the Group and the additional factory space would enable the Group to increase its production capacity. HistoryFounded by Goh Mia Kwong, Low Lee Kwee, and Choy Shu-How, the AGB Group started its operation in 1973 with the setting up of Johore Tin Factory Sdn Bhd ("JTF"), which is presently the wholly-owned subsidiary of AGB. Their vision and stewardship over the years have taken the company from a small can maker into one of the leading players in the local can manufacturing industry.
