Tentang Akitek Suria

Akitek Suria has adopted a ‘modern tropical’ approach in the overall design principles. The climatic condition in relation to human behavior influence the overall architecture of Akitek Suria. Right from the beginning of practice, Akitek Suria had identified the climatic condition will determine the character of each building followed by the identity to be created and suit the environment. Therefore the architecture of Akitek Suria is easily distinguished by the recessed wall, deep window, large overhangs, natural ventilation for lift lobbies, staircases and toilets, human friendly and the tropical roofing when necessary.

 

History

He started his career as a lecturer in the same university for two years before joining a private developer as a project manager in 1985. In the following year, Ar. Haji Mior Zawari b. Hassan obtained his corporate membership from the Malaysian Institute of Architects, thus started his own practice in 1988 until today. His architectural firm has won Top Ten Malaysian Architect Award from Building and Construction Interchange Asia (BCI Asia) in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
