All Women’s Action Society (AWAM)

The All Women’s Action Society (AWAM) is an independent, non-profit, feminist organisation working to create a just, democratic and equal society.

 

AWAM’s core work is public education, training and facilitating conversations to raise awareness and change mindsets and attitudes. We also take on lobbying and networking activities to develop better laws for women, and we provide counselling and legal information for women facing violence and discrimination. We work with youths, indigenous communities, relevant government agencies, as well as service providers.
