My schedule is often very busy, as I need to input data for lorries and materials into the system. I have learned how to handle upset lorry drivers and correct any false information in the system. I work two shifts, with the morning shift from 8:00am to 8:00pm and the night shift from 8:00pm to 8:00am. However, I am required to arrive 30 minutes early before my shift starts. The most challenging aspect of my job is having to communicate in Mandarin. When the translator is not available, I have to rely on Google Translate and body language to communicate with Chinese supervisors and leaders who do not speak English. Despite this challenge, I enjoy working there because I only work four days a week and receive triple pay on public holidays. Additionally, the company provides a panel clinic, free hostel accommodation, free meals, and a petrol allowance.
