ALLTHATISSOLID

ALLTHATISSOLID is a friendship, a body of work, and a set of evolving ideas built on the founding belief that architecture must challenge society and technology to envision new worlds. Engaging in a wide variety of building types across multiple scales, the practice leads with design, seeking to reveal unique possibilities hidden within each project. We are deeply committed to cross-disciplinary conversations in our research and client collaborations, finding pleasure in discovering new categories of knowledge and experience.With commissions and built work in Los Angeles, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur, our projects include Lionsden, a finalist for the Contractworld 2010 “New Generations - Retail” prize, Swampthing, a speculation on San Francisco urban ecologies published in Bracket (Actar), Plushscapes installed at the Seoul Museum of Art and WetnWild, an Installation for Urbanscapes 2013. ALLTHATISSOLID was chosen to participate in LA Forum for Architecture and Design’s 2013 edition of the Out There Doing It lecture and exhibition series.
