From a vision of one man wanting to

bring quality healthcare closer to the

community, it started with his first move

by providing services to the inmates in

the Prison Department of Malaysia.

Started with three doctors in three

prisons which Kajang Male Prison,

Kajang Female Prison and Sungai Buloh

Prison. That was in September 2004.

In January 2005, A.M. Medical has been

awarded a two year contract as the

Prison Department of Malaysia has seen

a good improvement in the provision of

care to the prisoners with qualified

doctors. In 2007, the Government of

Malaysia has decided to expand our

services to all the Prisons and Detention

Centres in Peninsula Malaysia.

The company opened a branch office at

Kuching, Sarawak in January 2008 and

in March 2008, the Government of

Malaysia agreed to award the company

another round of expansion which is

inclusive of Sabah and Sarawak.

From the onset of the expansion, highly

qualified doctors were selected and

placed in various prisons and detention

centres throughout Peninsula Malaysia

to provide quality services to the Prison

Department of Malaysia.

From then on, there was no looking back.

The company expanded with its own

management team, this promotes further

expansion with the vision of the company

director being implemented by its team of

management.

Now with its team of assertive and

energetic workforce, the company has

transformed itself from its three doctors

into a well-organised and reputable corporation.

to its corporate clients.
