Balfour Beatty Rail Design International is a world leader in fixed rail infrastructure and sets the standards for innovative engineering across all rail disciplines. At Balfour Beatty Rail Design International, we provide design and engineering services for client's requiring expertise in railway electrification delivery systems. The company was established in Malaysia in 2003 as part of a long term plan to develop an engineering centre of excellence for both domestic and overseas markets in the field of rail electrification design and engineering.

Our engineering and design capabilities provide our clients with a broad availability of services which can be tailored to meet individual requirements suited to the nature of each project scope. Through our experience in working within the railway industry we are able to recognize critical issues such as safe and practical management of the fixed infrastructure whilst minimizing the environmental impact of both the construction and operational phases of the railway lifecycle.

From conceptual designs through to customized design solutions, installation drawings and maintenance analysis, we undertake design simulations, studies and surveys in-house to ensure that our Clients receive service with assurance.
