A typical day at Consolsys would begin at 9 am, where I would start by reviewing the tasks and issue tracking system to assess my progress from the previous day. Following this, a brief 5-10 minute stand-up meeting with the team would be held to discuss progress and any issues. If there were no meetings with customers or management, I would spend my time coding, working on tasks, fixing issues, and distributing tasks and defects to other team members as needed.

Effective communication among team members, business analysts, and project managers is key to resolving issues between software engineers and clients in order to meet project requirements. Rather than pressuring software engineers to complete impossible tasks, the team focuses on finding solutions through discussion. Workload is dependent on timelines, but project managers effectively manage task completion durations. This environment is ideal for recent graduates, as there are ample learning opportunities to understand project structure, delivery systems, and communication with senior management, business analysts, and other team members.
