A stylish and modern European menu is perfectly complemented by the gracious colonial settling. Part of the Jesselton Hotel the first luxury hotel of 1950’s Sabah, the restaurant was the location of many political meetings and agreements. The planning of the first government of Sabah, the handing over of the State by the British Governor were all discussed and orchestrated within these rooms.

Creamy buttermilk walls, glass topped dark tables, burgundy inset ceilings, cornices, and ornate gold chandeliers makes for a relaxing yet sophisticated environment to linger.

Our walk threw rooms comprise of the Mountbatten Lounge which seats 30, the light and airy Chelsea Brasserie 40, the formal Ascott 60 and the intimate and private Ditchling for 10.

The Kudos menu is inspired by Classic French and British Dishes. Executive Chef Mark’s intuitive feel for food is matched by impeccable culinary and technical skill, producing dishes that showcase the finest ingredients at their very best - and often in a new light. Sometimes a little retro, sometimes contemporary we are ‘ContemRetro’ Kudos.

Our wine list is cosmopolitan and has a modest selection of wines by the glass from a light Sauvignon Blanc to a robust Cabernet Sauvignon or Shiraz to satisfy the most discerning wine enthusiast.
