Tentang Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Hulu Langat

We are a Day-Training Rehabilitation Centre for Special Children with physical and mental disabilities. We are a charitable, non-profit making and non-governmental organisation registered with ROS and Jabatan Kebajikan dan Masyarakat. We are located at NO.43 & 45, Jalan Koop Cuepacs 4, Taman Cuepacs Batu 8 Cheras, *3200 Selangor. We can be reach through email. ; Phone 03-****1172 ; Fax 03-****5218. We operate from Monday to Friday ; 8.00 am till 4.00 pm except public holidays.

Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Hulu Langat was established in the year 1995 by founder Ms Aimee Chan and co founder, Madam Shirley Tham, who is still the current President. 

Our Persatuan is managed by a committee of 9 members, made up mainly of parents of our students.

Our technical team consist of a therapy team of 6 members comprising of speech therapist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and psychologist.

There are 6 full time / part time special education teachers to teach our students with various type of disabilities.

The admin department staffing is 3 persons.

The student population is 60 students.

We handle various type of disablities like Autism, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy and other disabilties.

We have facilities to cater for speech therapy,occupational therapy and physiotherapy and also gymnastics. 

We depend on public and corporate donations to run the centre. We also receive government assistance for food only
