Tentang Pusat Kanak-kanak Istimewa

In 1960's Special Children Centre Penang was originally known as Handicapped Orphan's Appeal. In November 1978, the Centre was known as Handicapped Children's Appeal and later on 24th April 1987, the Centre was known as Handicapped Children's Centre Penang.

In year 2014, the Centre celebrated its 50th Anniversary and since 3rd August 2015 the centre was known as Special Children Centre till Present.

Services Offered In The Centre

The Special Children's Centre Penang (SCCP) provides the following sevices

• Early Intervention Programme for children within the ages of 3-8 years old
• Basic Primary Education and Co-curricular activities for children from 7 to 13 years old.
