Rex Industrial Packaging Group was established in 1946 under the name Rheem Hume (Far East) Limited and since 1986, Hong Leong Group held majority stake in the company. Today, it is a diversified group manufacturing and distributing a wide range of rigid plastic packaging products to serve both industrial and consumer packaging markets. Rex packaging covers key markets such as personal care, household, food and beverage, lubricant and chemicals and has manufacturing operations in China and Malaysia .
